It’s that time of year again: World Wide Knit in Public Day is upon us! I love this unofficial holiday because it encourages knitters to come together and celebrate their amazing skills. June 8th-16th, people are gathering all over the globe to show off their yarncrafting skills in public.
NEY Community Project- create a bee keepers quilt from June 8th-16th
Join us for a hexipuff demo on June 8th showing 3 different cast on methods for puffs.
(Every hexipuff must be made from NEY yarn so dig into your stash and find those leftovers or buy our fun “Sock Bites”. You need 10-11 yards of fingering weight yarn and a small bit of roving/polyfil to complete a hexipuff.)

Come and knit with Liz Thomas our guest instructor for April. Liz taught herself to knit in her teens and has moved from scarves and hats to altering patterns and designing her own garments. This garter stitch wrap is knit sideways. It has tapered ends, and a sawtooth, bobbled border. Liz will be offering the class in either worsted or DK weight.
